129. Wounded Healer
Choosing to heal others for a living,
when in truth, you are hardly even living.
A juxtaposition, oxymoron,
or perhaps even sheer irony,
but fixing others while
you yourself are broken and torn.
Empathetic about the misery
and perils of others,
while your own sorrows,
you can't seem to mourn.
How can you heal someone else
when you are even more wounded?
How can you fix someone else
when you are even more broken?
-Rithin.
