23. Ashes
This colorful world without you is nothing but a solitary confinement;
One where the murals are faded
And the clouds are bleached out.
My eyes are tired of seeing sights so dreary,
While my lips have gave up on tastes so bland.
Darling, together let's grow old and grey
By lighting our souls on fire.
The igniting flames will color this world red,
As fragments of our ashes will fly in the breeze of love.
Once the world is red and radiant again, I will know that your heart is dwelling somewhere within it.
I will find you then but for the meantime, farewell my love.
-Rithin.
