71. Unanchored
Her eyes told me a tale,
About a boat that once set sail.
Lost in the ocean without a paddle;
Like an untamed horse lacking a saddle.
Far, far away from the shore,
Completely unsure of what to look out for.
Many years of freely drifting by and
then suddenly there in front stood an island.
Like a magnet, the vessel moved towards the banks which remained still and silent.
I am the boat, confused and lost.
And she is my shelter,
a treasure laden coast.
~Rithin.
